Gentle Harvest

Cook a pot of seasonal soup

Draw one card, discard one card, and gather three sets of three ingredients to finish your pot. Take from the draw pile or any companion's discards. A supper is three courses: starter, main and dessert.

How to play

  1. You hold 8 cards. On your turn, draw 1: from the draw pile, or the top card of any companion's discard pile.
  2. A set is 3 identical ingredients, or the 3 different ingredients of one family. Two of the same plus a third from their family doesn't count.
  3. When your 9 cards make 3 sets, you finish the pot and win the course, as in Palia.
  4. Otherwise discard 1 card onto your own discard pile. A card you just took from a pile can't go straight back.
  5. Everyone eats: at the end of each course, every cook scores their sets in hand: 60 for a family set, 120 for three identical. Finishing the pot earns 60 more.
